Marc Jacobs Pop-UP

On Tuesday, February 19, 2019, our class had the opportunity to visit the Marc Jacobs Pop-Up shop on 655 Madison Ave. We had our own personal tour of the store and spoke with the senior manager of global training. The pop-up had an interactive vibe to it with a Photo Booth, a cafe, an opportunity to write on the walls, a gift shop, and goodie bags filled with makeup. We learned about the rebirth of the 1993 Redux Grunge Collection. They took twenty-six looks from that original collection and brought them back to life using the same fabrics and designs. The head of global training showed us everything the store had to offer and did so while describing the history of the garments and accessories.
